Dinner for Two at La Trattoria, Raanana

La Trattoria, we’ve been waiting for ya!
At last, a "special occasion”" restaurant in the heart of Raanana. Tablecloths, attentive service, French hospitality and an Italian dairy menu.

La Trattoria is on Ben-Gurion Street, not far from Ahuza. The restaurant has a cozy indoor seating area but they have done the unthinkable and enclosed part of the outdoor courtyard! In the winter this area is "wrapped" in plastic and is kept toasty warm by tall movable gas heaters.

Indoor tables are covered in cloth and the restaurant is littered with lovely little knick-knacks. The semi-open kitchen is a hub of activity and the staff hops around from table to table.

The menu ranges from pizza to full fish dinners. Portions are generous to a fault - I dare you to finish any dish. The food is tasty and the service is attentive. Advance reservations are a good idea at this popular new eatery.
